One of Ray Kurzweil’s ‘craziest’ predictions from fifteen years ago just came true! Just like predictions of driverless cars and wireless brain interfaces were considered crazy in 2005, the idea that you could learn something other than by reading and listening was thought impossible.

But the nanobots that we use to augment our natural intelligence have also become more user friendly. Now we can ingest them, and they will find their way into our brains and upload the information.

The first brain-boosting nano chips had to be surgically implanted in your brain, to give you extra memory and computing power. Then they became wirelessly connected, making it easy to access information from the neural cloud. That still required a ‘download’ of sorts.

Now the smart pill is really smart. It can be preloaded with data nanobots that automatically migrate to the right sites on your neural cortex. So you can swallow a capsule to learn a foreign language within an hour or two.

It’s a great way to distribute knowledge on a strictly controlled basis. No one can hack the network once the nanobots are in your stomach.

The consulting industry is in disarray. At keynote presentations and briefing sessions, delegates simply swallow the ‘Notes’ and go home. But perhaps that’s just so much more efficient than listening to someone talk!
